Studio Activities
Make your day at the Shore a memorable one, when you create a glass memento. Each activity is one person per activity based.
QUICKCAST: ANY AGE!

QuickCasts are for any age and make as a lifetime keepsake! You simply press your imprint into a sandbox (hand, foot, paw, figure and don't worry, it isn't hot!) with the help of a Hot Sand team member. Hot molten glass is then picked up and poured into your sandbox print, capturing the imprint; this is so neat to watch! Your imprint is then placed in our annealer to cool. All art glass must cool (anneal) for several days and may be picked up 7 days after you make it. Or you can make arrangements to have your pieces shipped. We’ll let you know the size, based on your imprint.

Make your day at the Shore a memorable one, when you create a glass memento.Fused, colored glass collage. This is a light experience, making a glass mosaic.
With Hot Sand's SunTile activity, you arrange pre-cut pieces of colored glass onto one of our clear squares. You can make anything from a geometric design to your favorite figure!
We'll then melt your collage into colorful tile!
SunTiles can be made any time the hot shop and gallery are open.

BLOW-A-HOT SAND GALAXY BOWL
PRICE: $225 - *By appointment only for ages 15+
Awaken your inner Chihuly when you create a one-of-a-kind Galaxy Bowl, Hot Sand’s most involved activity ever! Includes 1 color or a HS mix in an Optic Mold for the bowl and an additional color for the Lip Wrap. Guests spend almost an hour in the studio working with 2 artists and get to apply the color - take heats - do some of the tool work and of course blow the glass.
