Hot Sand, the glassblowing studio at the Jersey Shore, has launched Hot Paws; the fun, do-it-yourself kit for making a lasting, one-of-a-kind glass impression of your furry friend’s paw from the comfort of your own home.

“We’ve been offering our signature QuickCast for hundreds of pet owners and their fur babies over the last 10 years at our Hot Sand headquarters. We wanted to expand this popular activity to people all over the USA, and so we developed Hot Paws. In the short time Hot Paws has been available nationwide, we’ve had a tremendous response, from the public looking for the perfect gift, to family members and veterinarians commemorating the life of a pet,” said Hot Sand Co-Founders, Thomas Stevens and Paul Elyseev.

Hot Paws kit instructions are easy: make a snowball with the included modeling material, squish the snowball, get a paw print, let it dry, and mail it back to Hot Sand Glass Blowing in the pre-labeled, postage-paid envelope included with the order. The Hot Paws should arrive in 1-3 days and as soon as Hot Sand Glass Blowing receives it, they create a mold to be filled with molten glass. Once cooled and set, it’s mailed back to the customer. The kit ingredients are gluten free, vegan, and simple enough for a child to use.

Hot Paws kits are sold exclusively through Hot Sand’s web site for $77 which includes all shipping charges.
